APPLY

The sun gives life. It lights our way.
Replenishes our spirit.
But when it finds unguarded skin,
It loves to scorch and sear it.
So slather on the sunscreen.
Use it once a day, at least.
Your skin's your biggest organ,
So keep that organ greased.

If you don't want that redneck feeling,
Apply here.
If you don't want your shoulder peeling,
Apply here.
Keep your crow's feet from growing faster.
Keep your face looking alabaster.
Skin will fry. Skin will die.
So apply.

If you don't want your ta-tas toasted,
Apply there.
If you don't want your weenie roasted,
Apply you know where.
When you're out in the altogether,
Tender parts tend to turn to leather.
So that's why I apply.
To pamper and soften, I reapply often.

Sunburn
Makes you grimace and frown.
Bunburn
Makes it hard to sit down.
One burn
And you'll know what I mean.
Shun burn
With SPF 15.
Or higher.

Don't be selfish with your protection.
Meet demand.
Someone else's exposed midsection
Could maybe use a helping hand.
Volunteer as an applicator
And it might lead to something later.
Make a friend at the beach.
Rub a spot they can't reach.
Don't be shy. Just say hi.
And apply.
